High Energy

Charlotte loves choir!  Right after the Christmas break, she found out that she had been selected to enter the choir called High Energy.  It is the highest choir in the school and it is comprised of all upper classmen.  Her teacher (who incidentally also taught Casey in high school) warned her that she might feel a little weird about being in a choir with no other Freshmen and that she may be treated coldly.  She didn't care and jumped in anyway.  His warnings turned out to not happen at all.  The other singers in High Energy welcomed her with open arms.  She LOVES it!

Recently we had her first concert with the group.  Though she hated the slightly immodest dresses they had to wear, we could tell that she was having the time of her life up on that stage.

It was so fun for Casey to see his daughter wearing the Colt colors that he wore.  After her musical number where there was a bit of dancing, he turned to me and said, "yep, she's a Westover all right!"

Here is that performance.  She is at the far right end.

She also performed with the accapella choir. (Their robes were much more modest).  She had so many robe changes it was ridiculous!

It is so fun to watch her love what she is doing and do it well.  She truly loves to sing!
